Classes will be offered on Monday & Saturday mornings to start, if all goes well, we will continue to add more classes throughout the week. We are limiting the size of the class to a more intimate smaller group, therefore, registration is required for all classes. You can sign up for any of the classes in person at the FRONT DESK or by calling 512-528-4766 (IRON).
Now for introductions:
Please welcome Kaitlyn Frey, our Group Fitness Instructor. A little about Kaitlyn. She grew up in Alabama, NY discovering her love for nature and movement. During the week she would partake in sports like soccer and gymnastics. She enjoyed spending weekends in the Adirondack mountains climbing peaks and backpacking even if it was snowing. Her relationship with the gym came shortly after, while developing the strength for more strenuous hikes.
Eventually, her journey led her to Thailand to study yoga philosophy. She became obsessed with an understanding of the complexity of human anatomy. Once she completed 500 hours of intense training, she brought her knowledge back to the States sharing and teaching all the way from Buffalo, NY to Honolulu, HI. She says “It’s primal to breathe together, to move together, and achieve goals together”. Her intention is for you to walk out of class feeling embodied, confident, and driven.
Some more fun facts about her are she’s a dog mom, the wife of a military veteran, and an esthetician!
To start, we will be offering 2 types of classes:
High intense interval training (HIIT) class features varying intervals of intense cardio and strength exercises paired with active recovery. You will increase your heart rate while improving your strength, boost your endurance, and work your entire body. You will be challenged to push your limits and leave feeling strong and accomplished.
Fit Flow YOGA is unlike other types of yoga, this will be a fast-paced and dynamic activity that emphasizes the flow from one pose to the next, rather than a single pose at a time. You will get the best combination of physical power, strength, and flexibility in this class.
